A Bridgerton-Inspired Floral Workshop
In collaboration with Flower Getaway
I’ve known Fika from Flower Getaway for years now, and it always felt like one day, we would create something together. When we finally did, it felt easy—like picking up a conversation we had already started long ago.
We found ourselves drawn to the same idea: something soft, romantic, and quietly nostalgic. Around the time Bridgerton Season 4 was about to arrive, it felt like the perfect reference point. Not in a literal way, but in a feeling—of abundance, femininity, and slow beauty.
We worked with seasonal blooms, many of them Japanese varieties—light and delicate. Sweet peas that moved with the slightest air, ranunculus that opened layer by layer, and other soft, generous flowers that naturally leaned into a garden-style composition.
We chose blooms with presence—fluffy, full, and expressive—so that even the simplest arrangement would feel abundant.
Fika guided everyone through the flowers first—how to care for them, how to understand them. There’s something grounding about starting there, before arranging anything at all.
When it was my turn, I shared how I approach a centerpiece using chicken wire—less about control, more about allowing space. Letting the stems find their own direction, while gently guiding them into place.
What I loved most was the people.
Some came without ever touching flowers before, others have been working with them for years. But once we began, those differences quietly disappeared.
Everyone moved at their own pace. Some were careful and precise, others instinctive and free. And somehow, every arrangement felt honest.
We ended the afternoon with tea and pastries, lingering a little longer than planned. No one seemed in a rush to leave.
If this speaks to you, you’re warmly invited to join an upcoming session.
